This Blockley 185/70 VR 14 is a modern designed steel belted Radial tyre, with an exceptional V speed rating and period correct tread pattern, designed in house. These Blockley 185/70R14 tyres are E Marked and DOT marked (for use in the USA).
This tyre size is basically a wider version of a 165 R 14 and as such the 185/70R14 size is often used by customers wanting a wider tyre with the same diameter as the "80 profile" 165R14.
Every one of these 185/70VR14 tyres is inspected and checked for dynamic balance - The small painted yellow circle on the side wall can be aligned with the valve stem by the tyre fitter so they know the optimum place to put it.
